Product Description: How to Determine Golf Cart Voltage (36V or 48V)

To determine the voltage of your golf cart's battery, simply lift up the golf cart's seat to locate the battery compartment. Once there, count the number of holes on a single battery. Multiply the number of holes by 2 to determine the golf cart's battery voltage, as each hole/cell is equal to 2 volts.

Furthermore, multiply the golf cart's battery voltage by the total number of golf cart batteries to get the overall voltage.

1995-2010 48 Volt Club Car DS and 2004-2014 48 Volt Club Car Precedent models require an OBC (On-Board Charger) Bypass Modification. If you're unsure whether your golf cart needs this bypass, feel free to inform us before making a purchase.
